Dynamic Pricing

Blog Post created by joshualeupolz on 29-Jun-2017

aWATTar is a Austrian electricity retailer, and they are offering dynamic pricing.

The clients have to pay a monthly fee of less than 5€ per month, and their variable costs for electricity are then the EPEX day-ahead market prices.

More information can be found on their website, but it is only available in German, and they are offering their service only in Austria.

I think this is a very good concept, and a very interesting billing concept for everyone who has flexible loads, like heat pumps or EVs.

My question is, if there are more retailers yet in Europe offering dynamic pricing on an hourly basis? It would be nice, if you could post them in the comments. Also, what do regulations concerning dynamic pricing in different countries look like?
