Launch of the 4th Edition of the CommUnity Post Magazine
Editor in Chief
2021 is a hopeful year. Never has a year had such modest, yet vital and universal, propositions: we just want a normal year. Yet as we balance 2020, we see that in the midst of one crisis, there were positive changes too: CO2 emission levels dropped, companies sped their digital transition, and some even announced that greater flexibility to work from home would be here to stay. Nevertheless, we cannot ignore the other crisis looming on the horizon, the climate crisis. We saw Covid-19, and the resulting restrictions, hit the most vulnerable members of our society the hardest, and we know that the climate crisis will be no different. It is with this urgency in mind that we, the CommUnity Post, bring you the fourth edition of our magazine.
As a team that has always been scattered across the globe, we are accustomed to working remotely and the pandemic did not alter our work habits, nor our resolve. We eagerly set out to find the new challenges and opportunities that sustainability enthusiasts within our community have been facing, to share them with you.
With this new edition, we are excited to bring you new innovations in the energy sector: from E-Mobility to Bioenergy; and new ideas for our society, on Plastics, Life Cycle Analysis and a full Circular Economy. We look forward to the return of dining out, and ask how we could do so knowing the food we eat was produced and cooked sustainably, knowing the supply chain to your stomach was a sustainable one.
We can’t say what the future holds, but we know it needs to be different from the present that we live in today. With this latest edition of the CommUnity Post Magazine, we offer you a glimpse into the future that our CommUnity Members are imagining. We hope you enjoy the read!
