The EIT InnoEnergy CommUnity Hackathon is an exciting 12-hour event that unites aspiring developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to collaborate, compete, and bring their groundbreaking ideas to life. Hosted by the Enel Innovation Hub Europe at Espacio Endesa, with challenges sponsored by Project HUB-360 and Bax & Company.
Who can participate?
Our Hackathon welcomes EIT InnoEnergy students and alumni, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students from UPC.
How do I register?
To register for our Hackathon, please visit our registration page [https://community.innoenergy.com/networks/events/125996] and follow the instructions. Registration is free of charge, and the deadline is Monday, 6th November at 17:00.
What are the event dates and times?
The Hackathon will occur on Friday, 10th November, commencing at 9:00 and concluding at 21:00. Please make sure to arrive punctually for the opening ceremony.
Do I need to come with a team?
You can participate individually or as part of a team. If you don't have a team, we will help you form one on the event day. Team size is limited to a maximum of five members.
What should I bring to the event?
Participants should bring their own laptops, chargers, and any specific tools or software they prefer to use. Don't forget to bring your ID for check-in to building.
What is the challenge or theme of the Hackathon?
We have two themes for our Hackathon: the first is the "Battery Circularity Challenge," and the second is the "Sustainable Business Model Challenge."
Are there any prizes or rewards?
Yes, there will be prizes for winning teams.
Can I work on a project beforehand?
Projects must be developed during the Hackathon, and pre-existing work is not allowed. However, you can brainstorm ideas and gather information in advance.
Is there a code of conduct?
Yes, we have a code of conduct that all participants must adhere to. It includes guidelines for respectful behavior, collaboration, and ethical conduct.
Is there a cost to attend?
Attendance is free of charge. We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all participants.
Will accommodation and travel expenses be covered?
No, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide coverage for travel or accommodation expenses for this event.
Will food and refreshments be provided?
Yes, we will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages throughout the event to keep you energized and focused.

If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us during registration, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
How do I submit my project?
Project submissions will be done at the end of the event. Detailed instructions on submission will be provided at the event.
What happens after the Hackathon?
Following the Hackathon, winning projects may have opportunities for further development and implementation in collaboration with challenge sponsors.
