Talking time is over and it is up to our generation to stand up. Since Europe is one of the biggest economies in the world, making this economy circular will have great impact. We believe that you hold the creative key to bring this about; we want you to be the agents of change who will help shape a circular and sustainable future!

Nijmegen in the Netherlands is the Green Capital of Europe in 2018. Because of this, we are organizing the Green Capital Circular Exchange (GCCE). This program is aimed at enabling students, young professionals and designers from six different European countries to maximize their impact as agent of change to help create a circular economy. The GCCE will take place in Nijmegen (NL) from the 12th till the 17th of May 2018 followed by a DIY training on the 19th and 20th of May for the international participants.

Green Capital Circular Exchange

One city. Seven days. Ten teams. Forty students from different backgrounds, disciplines and nationalities will work together to a circular European economy and work on actual business cases. Develop you inner social-entrepreneur, work together with other driven, young, talents, boost your network and magnify your impact!

Leaders, practitioners and professionals from Circle Economy, Het Groene Brein, the Radboud University and many more will take the participants through the (English) program based upon Circular Design Thinking and Circular Business Modelling. The participants will eat, sleep, and create in the creative ecosystem of Nijmegen. More information can be found on our website: www.greencapitalcircularexchange.com.

This is all made possible by ARN and is organized by Start Up Mix.

Want to participate?

Do not worry about following a study that does not focus on business, sustainability, nor design. We are still looking for you! Innovation is created on the intersection of multiple disciplines, so registration is open for all disciplinary backgrounds.

Participation is not free. Because of ARN’s support, participants will contribute next to nothing with the specific amount depending on the region you are from. Your time, talent and passion are your main forms of payment. We take care of the rest; your flights, (most of the) food and sleeping arrangement! Registration is open to students or alumni of applied universities and universities.

The first step is to register here before the 29th of April. We will select the participants out of those who have registered and four participants from your city will participate in the GCCE.
