Laboratory LARSyS funded by the National Science Foundation (FCT) comprises a total of 152 PhD Researchers and 248 Researchers. LARSyS cooperates internationally with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
IN+, Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research encompasses 35 PhD Researchers and 70 Researchers from various academic backgrounds including Engineering, Social, and Economic Sciences. The Center conducts and participates in a number of sustainability-focused research projects related to smart cities, dynamic system modeling, mobility studies, building retrofitting, energy policy, and others.
