Horizon 2020: the forefront of European research & innovation

Created by Narcís Serrallach Partner on 28-Mar-2018

Thursday, 12 April 2018 at Norrsken House

Starts at 18:00 · Ends at 20:00, CEST (Europe/Berlin)

With less than two years to come to its final date, the biggest EU investment in innovation and research ever done, has lead to multidisciplinary game-changing solutions that will shape the future. It goes without saying that the funding scheme of this program has played a crucial role to foster all these initiatives. But, how much do you really know about it?

Join us in the next panel discussion about Horizon 2020! Featuring inspiring speakers with various backgrounds including the responsible for Innovation in Vattenfall who will give some insight about FLEXICIENCY, an ambitious project funded by Horizon 2020 that is planning to standardize and remove existing barriers from the electrical retail market, an EU funding consultancy firm and another main leader of a funded project by Horizon 2020, that is looking into new  transportation fuels through solar energy. These guest speakers will share their views about the funding scheme of Horizon 2020, specifically related to start-ups, and will conclude with a critical reflection on future perspectives of the European funding scheme.

After the discussion, attendants will have the opportunity to mingle with the speakers while enjoying a drink and some snacks.

The event will take place at Norrsken House, a five minute walk from KTH campus.
