On September 7-8, the InnoEnergy Benelux office will host a worth-attending event on the current and trending topic of energy policies, the InnoEnergy’s Policies Masterclass: Decoding Clean Energy for All Europeans, out of a collaboration started as an initiative by the CommUnity and the InnoEnergy EU Business Unit.

The name refers to the “Clean Energy for All Europeans” package, issued by the European Commission on the 30th of November 2016. It consists of four legislative proposals, on Market Design, Renewables, the Governance of the Energy Union, and Energy Efficiency. In addition, the European Commission has issued two communications: a first entitled “Clean Energy for all Europeans”, and a second one named “Accelerating Clean Energy Innovation”.

The masterclass, while offering direct access to knowledge about the European energy policies, will provide a proficient consultation about the background that led to these measures with the chance to discuss current and future scenarios with the main actors, and potential impact on business models in the energy sector. Policy and business experts, market analysts and representatives of the main stakeholders involved in the energy transition are going to guide the participants in this journey to reach a deeper understanding of the “Clean Energy for All Europeans” package. This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of the InnoEnergy access to qualified information and to gain insight into the policies that will shape the European energy sector in years to come.

The masterclass will be held in the InnoEnergy House in Brussels, in Rue Guimard 7. Seats for the event are limited and by invitation only. Participation is open to the InnoEnergy CommUnity in the roles of students, alumni, young and senior professionals, employees as well as partners (industrial, education-related, research centers), ventures and SME’s.
