Short description:
This webinar explores energy innovation and related processes of technical change in energy systems, from a variety of social science perspectives – primarily economic but also political, geographic, philosophical and sociological. The module is targeted at post-graduate students who already have an engineering and/or technical background and who will be moving into professional roles in industry and government where social science insights will be useful in management and decision making. The main theories and debates social scientists use to understand human behavior as it relates to energy innovation will be covered.
