The 2016 edition of the Partners Day Iberia was an invitation to bring together the InnoEnergy communities of the regions of Spain and Portugal.

The event took place in June in Barcelona, and counted with the presence of representatives from IREC, IST, UPC, Gas Natural Fenosa, Comsa Corporación, Tecnalia, Iberdrola, Energias de Portugal, Galp Energia and Ciemat. The welcome speech was formally given by the President of InnoEnergy Iberia, Fátima Montemor, followed by Mikel Lasa, InnoEnergy Iberia CEO, who shared with the audience the main achievements of the organisation and its future perspectives.

Afterwards, InnoEnergy Iberia's formal and associate partners gave a short presentation about their companies. The information obtained was reinforced with speed dating rounds, where every partner had the opportunitiy to exchange ideas and prospective collaborations with their colleagues. The event closing was led by InnoEnergy SE CEO, Diego Pavía, who encouraged the partners to keep on using InnoEnergy's platform to develop their businesses and the sustainable energy sector. The event was followed by a networking lunch where participants continued sharing experiences and opportunities.

::: FRANCE :::

2016 Partners day

The 2016 edition of the Partners Day France took place in Marseille in July, and had the following central thread: "How to solve energy issues in the maritime world and port environment?".

Forty seven guests kick-started the event with a pitching session as an icebreaker. Whether they were from the industrial world (like Total, AREVA or Schneider Electric) or educational world (such as Grenoble Ecole de Management or Ecole Polytechnique), the participants shared their mission and current needs related to the energy field. Twelve representatives of the 29 start-ups supported by InnoEnergy France also took part to the pitching session.
The day after, participants learnt about the innovative and industrial PIICTO project of the Marseille-Fos port -- for which hydrogen is a top priority. Attendees cruised onboard a catamaran, to better explore what the Port has to offer. It allowed us to approach by boat the site where the batteries of the Flowbox project (supported by InnoEnergy) are stored. The endnote of this sunny Partners Day was a last networking lunch with Southern specialities and a sea view.

The 2015 edition of the Partners Day France took place in Grenoble, and followed the inauguration of the new premises and start-up incubator, and therefore benefited from all the networking and engagement of the previous day.

CEO Richard Biagioni kicked-off the day by sharing the vision and mission of InnoEnergy since 2010. We were pleased to host Laurent Combalbert as a keynote speaker. A standby officer of the French National Police and with a diploma from the National Academy of the FBI, Laurent worked for many years as a Negotiator with the elite intervention corps of the French police force. By sharing his stories on complex negotiations and his expertise on leadership, performance, collective intelligence and agility, Laurent really nurtured the audience. Networking between the participants continued around a laid-back lunch, provided by a food-truck. The afternoon activity was designed to involve all participants: we invited them to share their vision and idea of InnoEnergy tomorrow. To modelize our ideas, certified trainers of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method introduced us to this participative activity, which was as innovative as it sounds! Individually and then collectively, the groups co-designed their vision the community and the company.

The 2014 edition of the Partners Day France took place in Lyon. The first edition focused on solving five challenges specific to InnoEnergy, through creativity workshops.

With the guidance of a coach, we brainstormed on topics such as "How to encourage start-ups and industrial partners to collaborate?", "How to develop business and managerial skills in high level technical experts?", "How to identify the right experts to work with start-ups and innovation projects?." We were then joined by Philippe Silberzahn, a consultant, keynote speaker and management educator, for a conference on his field of expertise: "Disruptive innovation and Entrepreneurship". While guests mingled around the lunch buffet, an archery session was proposed to those willing to reach their target!
