This are the 3 files of the project of agriculture innovation towards a food security of Guinea-Bissau.
At the moment Guinea-Bissau, despite being very fertile, relies on importation of rice (main food source) and other foodstuffs from Senegal.
CNCR is trying to make Guinea-Bissau more independent by enhacing agriculture system and management in a 3-step project:
1: Recuperation of rice crops (bulanhas) by new systems of dams
2: Introduction of less soil-harming vegetable production
3: Creation of a agri-commerce net around the country to support the local producer guaranteeing their product will be sold
These are steps that keep doors open to structure innovation and other proposals.
The files are showing WBS and costs breakdown for the pilot phase of the first step.
The bulanha of Ingorè was chosen as the pilot site because of the reliable local support and the influence of CNCR on the village
