Diego Pavía graduated as electrical engineer, specialising in electronics and automation from the Polytechnical University of Madrid. His first professional experience, in 1988, was as co-founder and CEO of a start-up, Knowledge Engineering, dealing with industrial controls systems using artificial intelligence and neural networks. he joined Sema Group, and started a long career with private companies.
In SchlumbergerSema, Diego headed multicultural working groups all over the world in the field of energy, with revenues of 650M$. Between 2002 and 2010, Diego was the CEO of Atos Origin, a leading international IT service provider, where he was responsible for Spain and South America, about 9.000 employees, and an annual turnover of EUR 450 million. Since 2010, Diego has been CEO of InnoEnergy.
Diego, as a serial entrepreneur, has created 7 companies in his lifetime.
Innovation Director, InnoEnergy
Elena Bou has developed her professional career in the field of management consulting in both private and public companies, in Spain and internationally, which gave her the opportunity to manage and develop a number of European multinational projects involving a high degree of complexity and stakeholders, and the creation of two spin-offs.
Elena has been a member of the faculty of ESADE Business School in the department of Operations and Innovation Management since 1998, and is the former Executive Director of the Master of Operations and Services. She is founder, former director and research head of GRACO Research Group at ESADE Business School.
Elena is also a researcher of knowledge and innovation management, and author of several professional and academic publications in the fields of knowledge management, collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Management Learning, an international journal publishing original research and review articles on learning and knowing in management and organisations.
Since January 2011, she has been the Innovation Director of InnoEnergy.
Elena holds a PhD in Management Sciences from ESADE-URL (Doctor Europeus) and has a degree in Business Administration and Management and an MBA from ESADE Business School.
Commercial Director, GreenSync
David leads the financial and corporate strategy activities for GreenSync, an Australian technology company that specialises in the management of distributed energy resources (DERs) for global electricity markets. GreenSync develops software products and services for managing transmission and distribution networks, microgrids, energy storage and large discretionary electrical loads.
With a background in finance and entrepreneurship, beginning with Merrill Lynch, and senior executive roles with startups in the UK and Germany, David brings capital raising and execution experience to the GreenSync team. He holds a distinction MBA from London Business School and a Bachelors degree from the University of Melbourne.
David sits on the board of Mount Hotham Resort Board and is chair of the marketing csub-committee. His hobbies include rock climbing, aviation and skiing.
Co-Founder and Business Developer, Match Rider UG
Katina Schneider is Business Developer responsible for operations, marketing and partner acquisition. She loves the sharing economy, is an enthusiastic networker and gets excited about all topics related to new mobility. Her entrepreneurial experience dates back to 2007 when she founded a transcription services company in Michigan at the age of 21 after finishing college.
She has a Bachelor of Science from the College of Communication Arts & Sciences with a minor in Environmental Economics from Michigan State University (USA). She has continued her education by participating in various training programs for system design, online analytics, SEO/SEM, marketing and branding, investor readiness and pitch training.
Market Analyst, Sweco
Magnus Lindén is Energy market Analyst at Sweco’s Energy markets group and has almost 20 years of experience of the liberalized Nordic electricity market. His areas of expertise include advising larger electricity customers on their electricity procurement strategy, regulation surrounding metering and settlement, energy statistics, market design and renewable energy issues. Magnus has taken part in several studies commissioned by different stakeholders including regulators, the Swedish government and private commercial companies.
Magnus is a member of Sweco Sweden´s Smart City group as well as the Swedish governments Swedish SmartGrid workgroup for an increased flexibility in power system.
Education Officer, EIT
Marian Belko studied political sciences, international relations and financial management. In his Ph.D. thesis, he was focusing on decision-making processes in the European Union institutions. He works currently at European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) in Budapest (Hungary) as an Education Officer. In this role, he is responsible for managing the education agenda as an important part of the knowledge triangle. So far he has dedicated his entire professional career to the higher education management.
Previously, Marian worked as a Teaching and Learning Coordinator at a business university in Brno (Czech Republic). He was responsible for strategic management of study programmes organized within the validation framework with the UK partner universities. In other positions, he has also gained experience managing executive education programmes and business - academia partnerships.
Apart from that, he has also experience as an external expert contributing to several HEI research projects and as external evaluator of Erasmus+ initiatives and projects. In his free-time, he is a big fan of ice hockey, travelling and good reading in general.
