The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) recently estimated that the cost of installing solar electricity projects in Africa had fallen by over 60% in four years and may well see a similar decline over the next 10 years as we head towards total installed capacity of over 70 GW for the continent as a whole in 2030.
